Skin Matrix
Skin Matrix presented a unique challenge for us. They came to us wanting a online shop that required a user to login to view the products but allow new customers coming via affiliate links to browse and buy from the shop without registering or logging in. The site also had to allow each registered user to be assigned a different price for each product in the store.
Due to the nature of Skin Matrix’s business and the highly competitive cosmetics industry we went with a clean, white, design with a large full screen image slider to provide an eye catching site.
The site is built on top of our full content management system allowing for Skin Martix to easily add and edit pages and products themselves. The CMS also provides them with stock control, coupon codes, variable shipping and complete sales tracking for both online and telephone sales.
In order to allow users coming from affiliate links to browse and purchase without logging we had to build our own affiliate management system into the CMS. We built a system that allowed Skin Matrix to assign different commission’s to each affiliate and product with complete visibility to the affiliate marketer tracking clicks, sales and site performance information.
When affiliates login to the affiliate control centre they have access to all this information as well as banners, current commissions and previous payments providing them with everything they’d expect to find on large affiliate networks.
